my new job

the wish of every graduate is to get a job upon grdauation right? well i never really put too much thought into it....i just wanted to get out of school.

funny enough i got a job offer before graduation with a very prestigous multinational oil servicing company as an engineer. I was asked to start right after graduation.....were they kiddin me?? I told them that i was goin to start 2mnths after and they agreed.

I started out last month...trainin was good but now im in my job posting in a very remote part of America. I think im the only colored girl in this town of about 4oo hilbilly ppl.
to make matters worse, im the only female engineer in my district, so theres no need to tell u guys that i feel totally out of place.

I was going to run back home as soon as i got here but thank God for my fam dt constantly calls me with positive affirmations...im still here and learning to enjoy working out in the field under the burning sun....

i decided to get back into the blogging scene so i could make some friends out here, so y'all free free to check me up as ive been doin the same on your blogs....

Eyaa! I can imagine how it feels. I hope for a oil job myself and I've never considered the fact that the far out places where there is oil are not as much fun.
I'm sure you can find good people there as well who would make your life there bearable.

na true O! i didn't even think in that line. i took for granted that all men have abandoned their racist ways but i forget that even among men, we have gorillas who choose to remain so. Watch ur back well-well. naija pple are too smart for such nonsense.

Dey update from time to time.
